What is the name of a real estate site where you can learn how many days a home has been on the market?

I found a site a while back where you could search homes for sale by location and MLS#. Among the sites info was how many days a house has been on the market. I can’t remember the name of the site (it began with a T). Anyone out there have a better memory than me??
The site I recall searched nationally, it wasn’t a local site. It was more like Zillow.

Windermere, John L. Scott are a couple of agencies that list "days on market".

Arizona real estate agent search?

I am looking for a Real Estate agent who will sell my home. The house is in Queen Creek, AZ and I do not want to short sell it. I want to sell for what I owe on it. It is a 2054sq ft home and I owe 178k on it. It is in amazing condition, 3 years old.

Yahoo does not allow Answers users to promote agents or companies on the site. Since Piinal County does not have a local realty office, you will probably have to interview Chandler or Mesa agents. Currently there are 2050 sq ft houses for sale by banks for $120,000 in good condition. There are many short sales of that size for $110,000. Those prices are much less than the owners paid in 2005 when new. The problem for a buyer is that these sales can easily take 5 months to close. Your house would sell at a premium because you could close a sale in 3 weeks to a buyer who needs a home now.
Go to the nearest new home subdivision and introduce yourself to the agent in the model home. Tell her that you will pay her if she refers any buyers to you. She will know which buyers want something that her builder is not offering. She knows that most buyers who walk away from her homes can not wait the 8 months for a new home to be built.

well I’m searching for a new home and every real estate website contains the same home. who do I contact if I want to view a home? Does the home have a specific Real Estate company or is every company able to have it?

they are the same because most advertise homes on the Multiple Listing Association of your community. Any Realtor can sell any house and can also arrange for you to view the homes. It is easier for you to choose a good realtor in your community to work with exclusively. Then they will take all the information about what kind of home you want, what neighborhood, etc and give you the listings so you can drive by and decide if you want to look at it. They will also draw up the contract for you and present it to the Selling Realtor if the house is not one of their listings.

If you choose a realtor but happen to go to an Open House on a weekend by yourself, do not be tempted to let the Realtor who is throwing the open house to steal your business. These realtors will tell you "If you love this house, you better let me draw up the contract right now or you could lose the house". This is unethical and often practice. Just tell them "No, I have my own realtor and I will call them and let them know I want to put in a bid". That is ethical.

Many realtors spend hours helping people find homes and there is nothing more frustrating than people screwing them over on a moments notice by giving the sale to a slick salesperson.

Is there anywhere I can search with specific criteria, for real estate (for homes, in Knoxville, TN)?

My specifics are:

600,000 (and under, lower the better =)

Basement rancher (1 story home w/ basement)

Large Unfinished Basement or a workshop

2 kitchen

4+ bedrooms,
3.5+ bath

walk in shower (at least one)

walk in closets

no more than 10 years old

brick or stone

Near Cedar Bluff (In Knoxville)

Hardwood floors

Easy to maintain yard (smaller, (not tiny) but not acres and acres of land)

Not lower than street

Fireplace/s

Bonus room, office, or study

and preferably, a separate area on or off house for guests (or 20 something aged child) but within the same bedroom number limit

also, a porch, sunroom, screenedin porch, glass room, patio, or such would be nice

How can I search online for listed homes for sale and either specify in the search that they need to have been on the market at least 120 days or at the very least, see how long they’ve been listed for?

Ask your Realtor. They will have the answer.. The listing information is private only to the Realtors.. unless the home is a FSBO where this information will depend on when the the seller has put the house on a public website.. sometimes these are not updated and so they might have already sold and they show as still active.

It’s Free and has satellite pictures of the properties with or without highway and city overlays. You can search by price, house and land area, and home specs. you can broaden and narrow the search area.
